After working alongside BABYMOOV on the Nutribaby (+), Nutribaby One, and Nutribaby Glass, i&D was once again commissioned to develop the Nutribaby Evolution, a new generation of multifunctional food processor. Our mission was to create a timeless design while optimizing the number of components and reducing the product’s environmental impact.
The Nutribaby Evolution is a versatile food processor designed to prepare healthy meals in under 10 minutes of cooking time. Compared with its predecessor, this new model introduces an additional chopping function while reducing the total number of components by 30%. Designed for easy cleaning and repair, it can also be readily refurbished. Its chopping and grating functions, combined with carefully selected components, help reduce cooking time and lower energy consumption by approximately 30%.
For this project, our teams focused on usability, repairability, and performance:
• New features: An additional food-chopping function. Two independent bowls allow food to be cooked while another preparation is being blended. All removable components are dishwasher-safe.
• Eco-design: A 30% reduction in the number of components compared with the previous generation, while adding a new function. This simplifies cleaning, refurbishment, and repair.
• Energy efficiency: Thanks to the chopping function and carefully selected components, cooking time is reduced to under 10 minutes, resulting in approximately 30% lower energy consumption.
