i&D is proud to have supported SEGUIN in modernizing its product line. We designed and engineered a series of contemporary and authentic wood-burning stoves, fully aligned with the brand's historic identity.
We are pleased to introduce Agate, the new wood-burning stove made entirely in Auvergne. It offers long-lasting, high-efficiency heat through its dual combustion and the natural thermal inertia of cast iron.
Our priority was to create a stove that combines elegance, character, and performance, without ever departing from the SEGUIN heritage. For Agate, i&D provided:

Product Design: A redesigned, more contemporary, sleek and refined aesthetic with a subtle retro touch to preserve the brand’s traditional codes.

Engineering & Technical Study: A completely resized combustion chamber to establish technical consistency across future models and maximize energy efficiency.

Industrialization Support: Close collaboration with foundries to ensure a robust, reliable design ready for seamless mass production.
This project was developed simultaneously by our design and engineering teams, in constant dialogue with industrial partners. Agate is the result of this synergy: an aesthetic product delivering optimized energy efficiency, fully manufactured in France.
